Training takes place each Saturday morning at Loughlinstown Leisure Centre. It is open to boys and girls aged 3+ and provides football and matches each week to young and novice players in a format that is fun. All players play all games and training is designed to allow players get as many touches on the ball as possible. Recommencement Dates 2018 Season. DDSL: Monday 27th August U12/13 Premier/Major Tuesday 28th August U13/14 Premier/Major. Wednesday 29th August U15/16 Premier/Major. Thursday 30th August Youths South/North. No fixtures are scheduled 25th/26th due to Papal visit. All 11 a side and small sided Divisions will recommence Weekend 1st/2nd Sept. Congratulations to Thomas Downey and Samuele Oldrati. Both have been selected by the SDFL for the prestigious Kennedy Cup schoolboy competition which is taking place on June 11-15th in Limerick this year. They have been training hard with the SDFL squad since the start of the year. Their achievement in getting on this team is all the more notable because this is the first year that the team has competed in the SDFL. Park Celtic’s U7 Team continue excellent performances – this time against Terenure Rangers Well done to our U7 team who played with incredible skill this week – practising dribbling and tricks was the order of the day and they did not let the huge crowd down that turned up for this hotly contested match. Terenure had 2 extremely well drilled and skilful teams and we thank them for 4 great matches. Player profiles Éanna O’Keeffe – Dominant display at the heart of Park Celtic’s defence, calm and collected on the ball with a tendency for a crunching tackle or two!
